Unable to initialize 3D output

is what it says right when I start the game and it wont even load. I think it has something to do with a recent HP update I did because I was playing less than an hour ago, not to mention that my screen resolution looks weird and I cant fix it, its a lot more blurry than it was before.

Help? Yes I have a good graphics card and Directx 10.

This tends to be either a driver or directx problem. Make sure they're both installed properly and up to date

Direct x is, how do I check my driver?

This really does sound like a driver issue to me, my game did this too also when my drivers weren't installed.

Easy way to find out is go to Start > Run > then type in DxDiag, then when that window comes up you go to the Display panel and to the right you'll see the box that says ''Drivers'', it has the version and date listed.

This was done on Vista btw.

Ok im at that page in the display, and I see the info, what do I do about fixing it xD. (Im not a computer person sorry!)

find out what your card is first of all.

Try finding the current drivers for the model of your video card. if that dont work then try this.

That is for directx 9.0c if you have XP

That is for DirectX 10 if you have Vista

This might solve it, just encountered this issue recently:

Right click your Desktop
Properties
Settings
Advanced
Troubleshoot
Move the Graphics Acceleration slider all the way to the right (to Full)
